HELIOS

Hydrogen nucleons fuse,
Explode over billions of years
Like a fusion, the sum of all farts;
In part the sunny signature
Of its maker, like a hearth’s heat
Suffusing the home of our hearts.

Rewrite:

Hydrogen ions stick and are
Exploding for billions of years
Like the sum of all farts; fusion
Is the heart-warming signature
Of our creator, like hearth's heat
Suffusing the space that parts.
